Google has been named the world’s most powerful brand by the analyst firm Millward Brown. This is the second year in a row when Google has topped the list.

Other technology brands to make it into the top 100 list include Microsoft (third), IBM (sixth), Apple (seventh), Amazon (61st), Yahoo (62nd) and eBay (65th).

The BrandZ Top 100 rankings try to measure the intangible value of a brand using customer interviews, market data and financial information, reports San Francisco Chronicle.
