    • “We hope the increased availability of Google Play gift cards will make
it easier for users to enjoy your favourite movies, books, magazines, apps and
games across all your devices. Users in India can buy games like Prince of

    • Over the years, Google has tweaked its apps store including a name
change from Android app store to Play Store. In May, the company introduced a
new and interesting feature which lets users ‘pre-register’ for apps in Google
Play Store. Pre-registration is free for Android customers, and allows them to
receive notifications when an app or game is available for download or for
      purchase on the store.

    • Prepaid vouchers or gift cards were introduced
by Google in the US back in 2012, and have since seen a slow rollout across the
world. The launch ahead of the festive season in India will give consumers an
option to gift friends and family, offering Google Play store credits. With
this users will no longer have to rely on electronic payment to make Google
Play purchases or rentals, and can instead use cash at the stores that sell the
      vouchers
