Google India launches Got the ‘App’titude Challenge for colleges

Google in partnership with Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi has launched Got the ‘App’titude Challenge that aims to identify student, faculty, and alumni leaders across India to implement Google Apps within their colleges.

Got the ‘App’titude Challenge is open to all Engineering and MBA colleges in India that have not already signed up for Google Apps. One can participate in the contest till September 15, 2008.

Got the ‘App’titude Challenge is open to all Engineering and MBA colleges in India that have not already signed up for Google Apps. One can participate in the contest till September 15, 2008.

According to Google, winners will be decided on the basis of successful implementation of Google Apps and the highest level of Google Apps usage amongst all the participating colleges. There is also a special prize for the team that utilizes Apps in the most creative way.

Google Apps Education Edition, a free suite of online products, aims to help colleges improve their communication and collaboration capabilities using Google Apps. It includes Gmail, Google Talk, Calendar and Documents.
