Google on April 15 2011 celebrated English comic actor Sir Charles Spencer “Charlie” Chaplin’s 122nd birthday with a specially made themed video doodle on its homepage. The black-and-white video stars the members of the Google Doodle team and is a short movie featuring gags borrowed from Chaplin’s silent films.

After the video ends, the user will be taken to a Google page showing search results for “Charlie Chaplin.” However, this is not the first video doodle to grace the Google home page as the 70th birthday of John Lennon also had an animation doodle on Google.
