FREECULTR launches offline POP-OUT store

Online apparel brand of Smile Group, FREECULTR has launched its first digital POP-OUT Concept Store at DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The offline store will showcase the best of its lifestyle essentials for men and women for almost two months (December to early February 2013).

A first of its kind digital POP-OUT concept store, it will provide consumers with a visceral connect to FREECULTR, its products and brand culture. They can try the products from various categories to learn their best fit and use the “Order Bar” to buy the products which will be delivered anywhere in Delhi within 24 hours.

The “digital” offline concept store is a visual and interactive experience that integrates LED screens, videos, tablets, and computers to deliver new campaigns, behind the-scenes videos, product shoots, looks and allows consumers to replicate the power ofonline purchasing experience in a physical store environment.

Earlier in June this year, Ru-Net, a Moscow based Venture Fund, along with Sequoia Capital has invested US$ 9 million in FreeCultr.com, a venture started by Harish Bahl along with Sequoia Capital, with Sujal Shah – ex IMG Head Fashionweek, and Sandeep Singh, Business Head of Quasar. In December
2011 FreeCultr was launched by raising over $4 million from Sequoia Capital.
