    • Nag will be responsible for managing Uber
      India’s partnerships and look after business development.

    • Before joining Uber, Nag was responsible
      for growth at Internet.org (now known as Free Basics), where he built
      relationships with companies who could be brought on board as strategic
      partners for Facebook in India.

    • He was also responsible for local growth
      initiatives and opportunities, market insights, managing mobile and media, and
      developer partnerships for over two years, the report said.

    • Prior to that, Nag worked with Facebook on
      its Pages product, where he eliminated malicious pages and worked on
      distribution for six months.

    • Uber is looking to set up an engineering
      centre in Bangalore to offer solutions for the Indian market, according to a
      Times of India report in December, and
      will hire software engineers and product managers. The India growth product
      engineering team, as it will be called, will take care of all product and
      engineering projects in the country.

    • Uber has expanded to four more cities in
      India, taking its total cities of operation in the country to 26, and making
      India Uber’s second largest geographical market outside the US.
