Founder and editor Sahad PV leaves VCCircle

Sahad PV, the founder and editor of media business VC Circle, has quit the company, reported medianama. Sahad confirmed the development to MediaNama.

 

“It’s natural for a founder or entrepreneur to move on once the business is acquired. It’s already a year since VCCircle was bought by News Corp. Now there is a capable management in place to take forward the journey which we started,” he said.

News Corp had acquired VCCircle last year in November for an undisclosed amount. VCCircle runs two online news publications – VCCircle.com and Techcircle.in and does lot of events around investors community. They also have a subscription based data platform, VCCEdge.

VCCircle has recently appointed Archna Shukla as editor. Before joining VCCircle, Shukla had been the senior editor at The Indian Express for 6 year. She has also worked at various business media agencies like Business Standard, The Economic Times, Business Today.
