Fetise.com has been launched by Abhishek Shah, co-founder of WanaMo.com which got acquired by Germany based Group Buying Global AG and Harish Bahl in June 2010 and was re-branded as DealsAndYou.com. Abhishek has formally quit from DealsAndYou to run Fetise.com, but continues to hold equity in the company.

“The success of the group buying and private sales models has revolutionised e-commerce globally. However e-commerce in India still needs basics to tick with the consumers and an example of that is “Buy over Phone and Pay Cash On Delivery” facility which can bring previously non transacting audiences to buy online and open up a whole new market for e-commerce enabled business models. Pricing and user convenience are the two big factors drawing consumers to start buying online,” Abhishek Shah has said.
