To use the service a Facebook user first needs to activate his mobile phone for Facebook Mobile. That can be done by sending a text message containing the letter ‘f’ (without quotes) to 9232232665 and then submitting the activation code received from Facebook on the social networking site. In a related development, Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO, Facebook, has announced that the social networking site has attracted more than 300 million people from across the world. “It’s a large number, but the way we think about this is that we are just getting started on our goal of connecting everyone,” he has said.

Mark Zuckerberg also informs that Facebook has become cash flow positive which would suggest that the company is now earning more money than it is spending. “Earlier this year, we said we expected to be cash flow positive sometime in 2010, and I am pleased to share that we achieved this milestone last quarter,” Zuckerberg has added.
