Arthur Hoffman, managing director, Expedia Asia Pacific, has said, “The outbound travel market in India is growing at a rate of 20 per cent per annum. Over nine million Indians travel internationally every year and this number is growing faster than ever before with the figure poised to touch 12 million by the end of 2008 alone.”

“The outbound market will be further driven by a growing Indian economy and higher disposable incomes. We believe we will be able to satisfy this ever growing market with our global product range, competitive prices, and in-depth travel and destination information,” Arthur Hoffman has added.
