Educomp acquires majority stake in Learning.com for $24.5 million

Educomp Solutions has acquired 51 per cent stake in US-based eLearning company, Learning.com for $24.5 million. Following the investment, Learning.com and Educomp together hope to bring Educomp’s services to schools in US, as well as bring Learning.com’s products to users in India and South-East Asia.

Following the investment, Learning.com and Educomp together hope to bring Educomp’s services to schools in US, as well as bring Learning.com’s products to users in India and South-East Asia.

It is Educomp’s second strategic investment after the acquisition of Singapore-based K-12 company AsknLearn.com last year. Earlier, the company had acquired 76 per cent stake in ThreeBriX E-Services, which owns an online tutoring service LearningHour.com, and 70 per cent of Canadian online solutions company Savvica.
