Digitas India has roped in Saugata Bagchi as the agency’s
new vice president who will be heading its Mumbai office in India. Bagchi moves
in from Tribal DDB India where he was AVP and headed client servicing across
all the agency offices. Bagchi has 10 years of experience in advertising and
marketing world and has worked with companies like Sanofi-Aventis, Pfizer,
AstraZeneca and agencies like Sudler & Hennessey, JWT and Tribal DDB India.

In his new role, Bagchi will consolidate and grow the
agency’s portfolio in the CRM business while making fresh inroads in the
digital marketing and branding arena. “We are excited about the decade of
brand management experience that Saugata brings to the team. With his
cross-functional exposure across a great mix of brands and categories – from
FMCG and healthcare to telecom and auto – we will be able to further strengthen
our client portfolio.” said Kanika Mathur, president of Digitas India.
