CNBC-TV18, MoneyControl to live stream Union Budget 2011 on YouTube

Business news channel CNBC-TV18 and financial portal MoneyControl.com have partnered with Google-owned online video sharing site YouTube to live stream the Union Budget 2011 day feed on YouTube.com/CNBCTV18. According to CNBC-TV18, the live stream will be only available to users in India and will be IP blocked in other markets of the world.

According to CNBC-TV18, the live stream will be only available to users in India and will be IP blocked in other markets of the world.

Anil Uniyal, chief executive officer, CNBC-TV18 & CNBC Awaaz, has said, “With the growing importance of emerging markets such as India, important financial events such as the Union Budget have mass appeal. We are happy that through this partnership we will be able to make our channel available additionally to the vast YouTube audience as well.”
