Cheetah Mobile, a leading mobile internet company from China, has launched a new social video app in India. “Cheez,” the latest app by Cheetah, dedicated to making the world smarter, allows users to create, share and discover short videos that are up to 17 seconds long.
Live.me Inc., a popular livestreaming platform owned by Cheetah Mobile formally announced launch of Cheez app during an event.
Users can perform trim, cut, merge, and duplicate video clips by using editing tool offered in the app. The app is also equipped with live filters, voice changers, stickers, and music. The app available in English, Hindi, and Spanish can be downloaded on both Android and iOS devices.
Live filters, voice changing effects, stickers and music are other function of this newly launched app. Dance Off, a game-like feature has also been added in Cheez app.
“Cheez provides a platform for all people to really show off who they are, whether that’s by making funny videos, singing, dancing, or just sharing interesting moments from their everyday lives,” Live.me Inc. CEO Yuki He was quoted as saying in media reports.
Cheetah Mobile also introduced a no-frills top-notch photo-editing app PhotoGrid for Indian mobile users in November. The app has its fundamental features that will serve as a perfect tool to fit the needs of Indian mobile users.
