R K Misra, who recently won The Times of India’s Lead India contest, has launched ChangeIndia.in. The website aims to build a community of individuals who want to do something for society or undertake a project for the benefit of the nation.

ChangeIndia.in is currently available in five Indian languages — Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu, besides English. OneIndia.in is helping the site to make the content available in regional languages, reports Agencyfaqs.

The website has been launched as a part of the Change India movement that has got the support of Yahoo, Google and AOL. “Yahoo has partnered with us to provide site hosting services. Google is giving us email creation support and AOL will help us spread the word about the movement through mobile — it will send alerts to its network of five million members,” R K Misra has said.
