Bangalore-based Canvera.com, an online imaging company, has launched
Vivyo, an e-commerce and social platform for photographers. According to the
company, Vivyo enables photographers to leverage the internet for marketing and
selling their work, and to collaborate with their clients through an online
hosted solution.

“On Vivyo, photographers can create their own online
photography portfolio websites in as little as 15 minutes using a rich library
of themes included in the platform. Photographers can also easily create
microsites for their clients, where all the pictures and videos of an event or
occasion can be beautifully showcased and shared directly shared on social
media. In addition photographers can collaborate with their clients online
through features like image selection, comments, “Like” etc and also
allow guest contributions of pictures and videos directly to the sites,” the company
said.

“Through Vivyo, Canvera is addressing a
potentially huge void in the photography and imaging market in India. Majority
of photographers today do not have a website to showcase their work – this is
changing rapidly as more and more photographers are looking for online
presence, and more and more consumers are demanding online ways to consume
imagery and collaborate with photographers they engage. With Vivyo,
photographers will be able to achieve all this without having to worry about
website design or development, hosting, or managing images and their security,”
Peeyush Rai, co-founder and CTO, Canvera.com has said.
