Matrimony portal BharatMatrimony.com has partnered with a direct to home service provider Tata Sky to make its services available on TV. The move is aimed at making BharatMatrimony.com services available to a wider user base that may not have access to internet.

Tata Sky has launched an interactive service called Actve Matrimony that would allow its subscribers looking for a prospective life partner to choose from the profiles listed on BharatMatrimony.com, displayed on their TV screens.

Actve Matrimony would feature about 1,000 new matrimonial listings from different languages and communities every week. And the DTH subscribers will be able to get the contact details of the preferred listings by sending an SMS request to Tata Sky. The listings on Actve Matrimony are sourced on an opt-in basis from premium members of BharatMatrimony.com.

Murugavel Janakiraman, founder and CEO, BharatMatrimony.com, has said, “Actve Matrimony is a perfect platform, which simplifies matrimony search process of people who do not have access either to the internet or our offline initiative BharatMatrimony Centre in their city.”

“Interactive services are our key differentiators, and it is our constant endeavour to offer something unique for every member of the family,” Vikram Mehra, chief marketing officer, Tata Sky, has said. “We believe that Actve Matrimony will help us further grow our 2.3 million connection base.”
