Arvind Kejriwal to interact with NRIs through Google+ Hangout session

Indians over video chat on November 10, 2012. During the hour long interaction (8PM to 9pm) on Google + hangout, Kejriwal will answer queries from NRIs living in more
than 10 countries.

“Since the announcement of the political
party, we have been getting many queries from NRIs on the way forward and our
stand on various national and international issues. During this interaction, Arvind
Kejriwal will try and answer these queries,” said IAC member Dilip Pandey,
reports FirstPost.

Pandey further said that IAC is in the
process of screening the questions it has received for the live video session.
Selected questioners will interact with Kejriwal.

In September 2012, Gujarat Chief Minister
Narendra Modi’s Hangout was watched by 82,000 people across 116 countries
watching it live on YouTube. Gujarat Chief Minister, Shri Narendra Modi
interacted with people from across the world via a live Google+ Hangout for 2
hours on Friday, August 31, 2012.

In the past, various governmental organizations
and political parties in India, including the Ministry of External Affairs
(Indian Diplomacy, MEA YouTube channel, Google+ page) , Rajya Sabha TV and the
Indian National Congress have used YouTube and Google+ for citizen engagement.
Previously, other leaders like US President Barack Obama, Australian Prime
Minister Julia Gillard and South African President Jacob Zuma have hosted
similar Hangouts on Google+.
