Artificial Intelligence (AI) is likely to be deployed by majority of the organsiations in India before 2020. This has been revealed by the Intel India commissioned report, undertaken by the International Data Corporation (IDC).
71 per cent of total 194 enterprises responded to the survey are looking at increased process automation as a key benefit which could drive spike spends on this technology by 2020.
Around 75 per cent of those participated in the survey expect that use of AI would help increasing business process efficiency and employee productivity.
“This research is a small step towards comprehending this knowledge, and enabling companies, such as ours, shape strategy and move ahead in the right direction,” Prakash Mallya, Managing Director, Sales and Marketing Group, Intel India, was quoted as saying.
Intel which has been investing in the development of the ecosystem in India, currently powers 97 percent of data centre servers running AI workloads worldwide.
