Apparel retail chain Globus launches ecommerce platform GlobusStores.com

Globus, the apparel retailing arm of Rajan Raheja Group has launched their ecommerce initiative named GlobusStores.com. According to the company, the portal will have the entire product range housed across its 28 stores in India. The portal has been built and managed by Mumbai-based ecommerce service provider SociaLinked.

“The objective behind the launch of GlobuStores.com is to provide our products an exposure on the internet and also allow consumers to have an option of buying the items online” Meheriar Patel, CTO and Head IT, Globus Stores has told AlooTechie.

“We are pleased to help Globus with their first e-commerce store launch. More importantly this is a great event for the industry as a whole. We need to get more main stream retailers online and selling to increase consumer confidence in online buying,” Cory York, founder and CEO, SociaLinked, has said.
