AOL India allows its email, IM users to send free SMS to mobile phones

AOL India has launched a new service that allows its users to send instant messages and SMSes for free to Indian mobile phones through AOL Mail or Messenger service. The new feature also enables the recipient mobile user to respond to those messages instantly. According to AOL, the service is currently supported by a number of telecom networks including Airtel, Vodafone, MTNL, Spice and Aircel.
