Ankitaa Bhattacharji of Mumbai has won the Yahoo yodel contest in India. Yahoo had recently invited people to create and personalise Yahoo yodel. Tiffany Jo Allen and Katherine Skene have won the contest in US and UK, respectively. According to Yahoo, the winners were selected from more than 21,000 submissions to three finalists in US, UK and India, and a week of public voting.

“We meant it when we said it that Platinum winners would have the chance to be featured on one of the world’s largest stages: the Yahoo! homepage. Go to Yahoo.com, click on the Yahoo! exclamation point at the top left of the page and you will hear Tiffany Jo Allen’s yodel,” Brian Mullin, senior director, buzz marketing, Yahoo, has said. “Soon, you will hear the other winners on the UK and India homepages too!”
